I was what I'd consider a "high maintenance customer." I had a lot of questions and had to reschedule their work a couple times. Each crew that Kent sent out was great! They are all personable and take their time to answer questions. They worked quickly and I am pleased with their products and the job done. My house feels so much different now that they've completed their work. If I ever need insulation work done in the future, I'll be calling 316 Insulation!

Jami provided an initial quote with info and pics over email. She then showed up on time for our appointment for confirmation of original project, along some additional scope of work. We worked out a plan and a competitive price within days, and by Wed of the following week my project was complete. 2 teams showed up right when they were supposed to and completed the work by mid afternoon. Thanks for a great job from start to finish! Kind regards, Jeremy

Crew is very professional. Introduce themselves and then started work right away by a lane plastic on the floor to the attic so it's very happy.

Dealing with These Issues? Insulation Can Fix Them.

If you’re a business owner, the last thing you need is a building that’s costly to maintain. Here are six major problems commercial insulation can solve:

Rising Utility Costs

Poor insulation allows heat to escape in winter and enter in summer, making your HVAC system work harder. This leads to expensive power bills month after month.

Uncomfortable Workspaces

Some rooms feel too hot, while others are freezing, making work unpleasant. Inconsistent temperatures can affect productivity and customer satisfaction.

Noise Disruptions

Thin walls and ceilings let sound travel too easily between rooms or from outside traffic. This can make it difficult to work, hold meetings, or offer a peaceful environment.

Moisture and Mold Issues

Bad insulation can let moisture seep in, leading to mold and mildew. This not only weakens your structure but can also create air quality issues for employees and customers.

Escaping Conditioned Air

Drafty buildings make your HVAC system work too hard. Your HVAC runs constantly, but the building still isn’t comfortable.

Shortened Roof and HVAC Lifespan

When insulation is lacking, your equipment works harder than it should. Over time, this leads to expensive maintenance and replacements sooner than expected.

WHY CHOOSE US?

What Is Commercial Insulation?

Commercial insulation is a protective layer added to key areas of a building to regulate indoor climate, lower utility bills, and improve comfort. It acts like a thermal barrier, keeping your building cool and maintaining warmth in colder months. A well-insulated building stays energy-efficient all year long while lowering energy costs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is insulation important for commercial buildings?

Insulation helps reduce energy costs, improve indoor comfort, and enhance soundproofing in commercial buildings. It also protects against moisture buildup, prevents heat loss in winter, and keeps interiors cooler in summer, making it a cost-effective investment for businesses.

What types of insulation are best for commercial properties?

The best insulation depends on your building’s structure and needs. Common options include:

  • Spray Foam Insulation – Provides an airtight seal for maximum energy efficiency.

  • Batt Insulation – Cost-effective and great for walls and ceilings.

  • Blown-In Insulation – Ideal for attics and hard-to-reach areas.

  • Rigid Board Insulation – Offers strong thermal resistance for flat roofs and walls.

How can commercial insulation lower energy costs?

Proper insulation reduces heat transfer, meaning your HVAC system doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. This leads to lower heating and cooling expenses and long-term energy savings.

How long does commercial insulation last?

High-quality insulation can last 20–30 years or more with proper installation and maintenance. Spray foam insulation often lasts even longer due to its durability and resistance to moisture.

Can insulation help with soundproofing in commercial buildings?

Yes! Many insulation types, such as spray foam and batt insulation, help reduce noise transmission, making them ideal for offices, warehouses, and multi-unit buildings.

Is commercial insulation required by building codes?

Yes, most commercial buildings must meet local and national energy codes regarding insulation. We ensure compliance with all regulations while maximizing efficiency and performance.

How do I know if my commercial building needs new insulation?

Signs you may need new or upgraded insulation include:

  • High energy bills

  • Uneven indoor temperatures

  • Drafts or air leaks

  • Mold or moisture issues

  • An aging or outdated insulation system

How long does it take to install commercial insulation?

Installation time varies based on building size and insulation type. Most projects take a few days to a couple of weeks, ensuring minimal disruption to your business operations.
